If you are a solo rider with an insatiable wanderlust, here are a few tips and techniques to set up camp on your long-distance travels that will come in handy not just for saving a ton of money in accommodation costs but also in letting you enjoy nature to the fullest. Invest in a pair of good motorcycle luggage bags and top boxes that will give you ample space to carry everything you need but make sure not to stuff them full of things because it will only make things difficult for you to find when you need it quickly. Make Safety A Priority When you are alone outdoors your safety becomes a top priority at all times especially at night. Besides protecting yourself, you also need to prevent your motorcycle from being stolen when you are asleep! For that, invest in a good quality motorcycle chain and tie up on both wheels and use a couple of padlocks to secure them safely. Regarding your personal safety, you might want to invest in a few knives and axes which will come in handy for both chopping wood and to drive off wild animals and miscreants in the night.
